Olds Fashioned Festival of Trees is a fundraising event that has become a holiday "must see" tradition in Olds.  Be the first to get involved in this exciting community event and enter into a friendly competition of Christmas tree decorating, by donating a fully decorated artificial tree in a theme of your choice.

Olds Fashioned Festival of Trees is a community partnership between the Town of Olds, Olds Fashioned Christmas, the Community Learning Campus, Olds College and Chinook's Edge School Division.

Each year, proceeds from the event will assist in the Olds Fashioned Christmas Light-up event in Centennial Park and will contribute to equipping the TransCanada Theatre in the Fine Arts & Multi Media Centre with lighting, drapery, sound and video systems, costuming, sets, etc.

If you are interested in donating a decorated tree please select Tree Donors Responsibilities & Tree Donor Form.

If donating a tree is not for you then please check out the many other exciting sponsorship opportunities.  These include silent and live auction items, cash sponsorship or event sponsorship.  Please click here to view all Sponsorship Opportunities.

Tree set up will take place on Thursday, November 8th, from 5-10 pm. On Friday, November 9th, there will be a public viewing of the decorated trees from 7-9 pm. The trees will also be showcased for public viewing from 12 noon to 3pm on Saturday, November 10th, along with a silent auction that will be open to the public.   Entry is free for the public viewings, but Food Bank donations are encouraged. Saturday evening from 7:30-10 pm there will be a "Festive Social" with a live auction of the trees as well as a silent auction of various donated items.

Tickets for the evening social will be $15 and will be available for purchase from the Town or from committee members.
